A traditional style, done differently
Green Cask Distilling was founded on a pursuit of the extraordinary. Through restless experimentation, obscure ingredients, and meticulous formulation, its two owners dedicated years to the transformation of wild ideas into precious liquid. At the heart of the distillery sits an inherited oak cask, weathered and stained green by the unusual walnut liqueur it once held. Mysterious in origin and unmistakable in character, the Green Cask has become our totem.
We source rare botanicals from across the globe and push unusual grains into experimental whiskies. We chase bold formulations, unexpected flavours, and ideas that refuse to sit silent — all in the pursuit of products that keep things interesting. Some will feel familiar. Some will divide a room. All of it begins in our design lab in inner Melbourne.
Before you order
Why is there a four-bottle minimum?
Spirits are heavy and glass is fragile, so shipping a single bottle costs almost as much as shipping four. Rather than pass that on, we set the minimum at four and cover the freight. Mix them however you like.
What does shipping cost?
Shipping is free anywhere in Australia. Every order ships free, with no minimum spend on a four-bottle minimum.
Do I need to be 18?
Yes. It is against the law to sell or supply alcohol to, or to obtain alcohol on behalf of, a person under the age of 18 years. Someone over 18 must be present to receive the delivery.
